Chocolate Covered Fondant Creams With Peanuts

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Baker's Dot Chocolate
  • Fondant
  • Candied or Maraschino cherries
  • Almond or vanilla flavoring
  • Chopped peanuts

Method

  1. 1 Melt fondant over hot water and stir in almond or vanilla flavoring.
  2. 2 Place a cherry in the bottom of each starch impression mold.
  3. 3 Pour melted fondant into the molds to fill them level with the top.
  4. 4 Melt chocolate bits over warm water and stir in chopped peanuts.
  5. 5 Cool chocolate mixture to 80°F.
  6. 6 Dip the fondant creams one at a time into the chocolate.
  7. 7 Place coated creams on oiled cloth or waxed paper to set.
