Chocolate Buttercream Frosting
Ingredients
- 1 tsp Baker's Cocoa
- 2 tbsp cold water
- 3 tbsp hot water
- ½ tsp vanilla
- 1 ¾ cups confectioners' sugar
- a speck of salt
Method
- 1 Place cocoa in a small saucepan and add cold water; stir until perfectly smooth.
- 2 Add hot water and cook for one to two minutes.
- 3 Stir in vanilla and a speck of salt.
- 4 Gradually stir in confectioners' sugar until the mixture is stiff enough to spread.
- 5 Beat the frosting until smooth, glossy, and free of lumps.
- 6 Adjust consistency by adding cold water if too thick or more sugar if too thin.
