Chilled Oyster Cocktail With Spicy Tomato Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp tomato catsup
- 0.5 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice
- 2 drops Tabasco sauce
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 1 tsp finely chopped celery
- 0.5 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 8 oysters
Method
- 1 In a bowl, mix tomato catsup, vinegar or lemon juice, Tabasco sauce, salt, chopped celery, and Worcestershire sauce.
- 2 Chill the mixture thoroughly in the refrigerator.
- 3 Pour the chilled sauce over eight oysters and serve in cocktail glasses.
