Chilled Lemon Cream Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 1 quart heavy cream
  • Sugar to taste

Method

  1. 1 Place lemon juice and grated rind in a dish and sweeten with sugar to taste.
  2. 2 Boil the cream until reduced from one quart to three half-pints.
  3. 3 Pour the hot cream over the lemon mixture and let it cool completely.
  4. 4 Chill in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours before serving.
