Chilled Gooseberry Cream
Ingredients
- 6 oz gooseberries
- 1/2 cup water
- Sugar to taste
- 1 tablespoonful cream
Method
- 1 Cook gooseberries in 1/2 cup water until soft enough to pulp.
- 2 Add sugar to taste and rub the fruit through a sieve.
- 3 Let the mixture cool completely.
- 4 Mix the cooled gooseberry pulp with the cream.
- 5 Serve with rusks.
