Chilled Blackberry Lemonade
Ingredients
- 1 quart fresh blackberries
- 1 quart cold water
- 1 slice lemon
- 1 teaspoon orange water
- Sugar syrup (white sugar dissolved in hot water, cooled)
Method
- 1 Crush the blackberries and pour the cold water over them.
- 2 Add the lemon slice and orange water, then let stand for 3-4 hours.
- 3 Strain the mixture through a jelly bag or fine sieve.
- 4 Sweeten to taste with cooled sugar syrup.
- 5 Serve immediately with broken ice or keep chilled on ice.
