Chilled Blackberry Bread Pudding
Ingredients
- 1 quart blackberries
- Sugar to taste
- Buttered bread slices
Method
- 1 Stew blackberries with sugar until soft.
- 2 Layer thin slices of buttered bread and the hot fruit mixture in a dish, ending with fruit on top.
- 3 Cover with a plate and chill thoroughly.
- 4 Serve with additional sugar and cream.
