Chicken Pot Pie
Ingredients
- 1 chicken, cut up
- Water for boiling
- Pie crust (enough for top and bottom)
- Flour for dusting
- Hotter pepper
- Salt
Method
- 1 If the chicken is old, boil it for 15 minutes in a little water; reserve this water.
- 2 Line a pie dish with common pie crust.
- 3 Place the chicken in the crust, dust with flour, and season with hotter pepper and salt.
- 4 Cover with water (using reserved boiling water if available), roll out a thick top crust, and seal the edges.
- 5 Cut an opening in the center and bake for more than an hour.
