Chicken Pot Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 chicken, cut up
  • Water for boiling
  • Pie crust (enough for top and bottom)
  • Flour for dusting
  • Hotter pepper
  • Salt

Method

  1. 1 If the chicken is old, boil it for 15 minutes in a little water; reserve this water.
  2. 2 Line a pie dish with common pie crust.
  3. 3 Place the chicken in the crust, dust with flour, and season with hotter pepper and salt.
  4. 4 Cover with water (using reserved boiling water if available), roll out a thick top crust, and seal the edges.
  5. 5 Cut an opening in the center and bake for more than an hour.
