Chicken Melt In Bread Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can boned chicken
- 1 bread roll, hollowed out
- Cooked asparagus stalks for garnish
Method
- 1 Melt butter in a saucepan. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- 2 Gradually whisk in milk. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until thickened.
- 3 Stir in the canned chicken, breaking up flakes with a fork. Heat through.
- 4 Spoon the mixture into the hollowed bread roll. Garnish with asparagus.
