Chicken, Ham And Sweet Potato Stew
Ingredients
- sweet potatoes, washed and halved if large
- slices of boiled ham
- 1-2 chickens, cut up
- pepper
- salt
- bundle of herbs
- water
Method
- 1 Place the sweet potatoes at the bottom of a stew pan.
- 2 Layer slices of boiled ham over the potatoes, then add the cut-up chicken.
- 3 Season with pepper, salt, and a bundle of herbs, then pour in water.
- 4 Stew until the chicken and potatoes are tender.
- 5 Remove the herbs, transfer to a deep dish, thicken the gravy, and pour over.
