Chicken And Vegetable Stir Fry
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup carrots, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup celery, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, cut into strips
- 1 green pepper, cut into strips
- 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger, finely chopped (optional)
- 1 pound chicken, cooked, skin removed, sliced into strips
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce (optional)
- 3 cups white rice, cooked
Method
- 1 Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over high heat.
- 2 Add carrots, celery, onion, green pepper, and garlic. Stir until garlic is slightly browned.
- 3 Add ginger (if using), chicken, and sugar. Stir for about 1 minute.
- 4 Add soy sauce (if using) and stir to combine. Serve immediately with cooked rice.
