Chicken And Vegetable Stir Fry

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup carrots, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup celery, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, cut into strips
  • 1 green pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 pound chicken, cooked, skin removed, sliced into strips
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce (optional)
  • 3 cups white rice, cooked

Method

  1. 1 Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over high heat.
  2. 2 Add carrots, celery, onion, green pepper, and garlic. Stir until garlic is slightly browned.
  3. 3 Add ginger (if using), chicken, and sugar. Stir for about 1 minute.
