Chicken And Rice Vegetable Soup
Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked chicken, diced
- 6 cups chicken broth, low sodium
- 1 cup dry rice
- 1 3/4 cups mixed vegetables
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
Method
- 1 Place diced chicken, broth, and uncooked rice in a large saucepan. Cover and bring to a boil.
- 2 Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
- 3 Add mixed vegetables, garlic powder, pepper, salt, and parsley. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until vegetables are tender.
