Chestnut Salad With Lemon Dressing And Eggs
Ingredients
- 1 pint chestnuts
- Lettuce leaves
- French dressing (made with lemon juice)
- Hard-boiled egg yolks
- Hard-boiled egg whites
Method
- 1 Shell, blanch, and boil chestnuts until tender.
- 2 Drain and cool the chestnuts.
- 3 Serve the chestnuts on a bed of lettuce.
- 4 Drizzle with French dressing made with lemon juice.
- 5 Dust with hard-boiled egg yolks rubbed through a sieve.
- 6 Garnish with shredded hard-boiled egg whites.
