Chestnut Cream With Whipped Cream
Ingredients
- 30 large fresh chestnuts
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- whipped cream, sweetened and flavored to taste
Method
- 1 Peel, boil, drain, and mash the chestnuts.
- 2 Rub the mashed chestnuts through a sieve.
- 3 Cook the chestnut puree with sugar and water for 10 minutes.
- 4 Arrange the mixture in a circle on a serving dish.
- 5 Fill the center with sweetened and flavored whipped cream.
