  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • whipped cream, sweetened and flavored to taste

Method

  1. 1 Peel, boil, drain, and mash the chestnuts.
  2. 2 Rub the mashed chestnuts through a sieve.
  3. 3 Cook the chestnut puree with sugar and water for 10 minutes.
  4. 4 Arrange the mixture in a circle on a serving dish.
  5. 5 Fill the center with sweetened and flavored whipped cream.
