Cheshire Cheese Bread Pudding
Ingredients
- 1/4 lb bread crumbs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 lb Cheshire cheese, grated
- 3 egg yolks
- 1/4 lb butter
- 3 egg whites
Method
- 1 Boil bread crumbs in milk, then beat with a wooden spoon.
- 2 Add grated cheese, egg yolks, and butter; beat well together.
- 3 Beat egg whites to stiff peaks and fold into the mixture.
- 4 Pour into paper cases or a dish and bake at 425°F for 20 minutes.
