Cherry Lemonade Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 1 lb black cherries, pitted and chopped
- Syrup (to taste)
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 3 cups water
- 1-2 egg whites, unbeaten (optional, for pink color)
Method
- 1 Stone the cherries and cut them into small bits.
- 2 Sweeten the cherry juice heavily with syrup.
- 3 Add the juice of half a lemon and three cups of water to the mixture.
- 4 Freeze the mixture in an ice cream maker.
- 5 Optionally, add unbeaten egg whites to achieve a pink color.
