Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes With Onions

Ingredients

  • 6 potatoes, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp salt
  • pepper
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 cups hot milk
  • ¾ cup grated cheese

Method

  1. 1 Melt butter in a saucepan. Add flour and salt, stirring until smooth.
  2. 2 Slowly add hot milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  3. 3 Stir in grated cheese until melted. Season with pepper.
  4. 4 Layer sliced potatoes, onions, and cheese sauce in a buttered baking dish.
  5. 5 Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
