Cheesy Cornbread Canapes With Sautéed Vegetables
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons salad oil
- 1 small onion, minced
- 1/2 green pepper, minced
- 2 sprigs parsley, minced
- Thin slices cornbread
- Grated cheese
- Paprika
Method
- 1 Mince the parsley, onion, and green pepper finely.
- 2 Cook the minced vegetables in salad oil over low heat until soft, being careful not to brown them.
- 3 Lightly toast slices of cornbread.
- 4 Spread the vegetable mixture onto the toasted cornbread.
- 5 Sprinkle with grated cheese and paprika before serving.
