Cheese Scrambled Eggs On Toast

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 oz grated cheese
  • 1/2 oz butter
  • mustard to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • salt to taste
  • 1 dessertspoonful water per egg
  • butter for toast

Method

  1. 1 Whip the eggs and add 1 dessertspoonful of water for each egg.
  2. 2 Mix in the grated cheese, a little made mustard, pepper, and salt.
  3. 3 Heat the butter in a frying pan or small stewpan until hot.
  4. 4 Stir in the egg and cheese mixture, keeping stirring with a knife until it becomes a smooth, thick mass.
  5. 5 Put the mixture on hot buttered toast and serve.
