Cheese Scrambled Eggs On Toast
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1/2 oz grated cheese
- 1/2 oz butter
- mustard to taste
- pepper to taste
- salt to taste
- 1 dessertspoonful water per egg
- butter for toast
Method
- 1 Whip the eggs and add 1 dessertspoonful of water for each egg.
- 2 Mix in the grated cheese, a little made mustard, pepper, and salt.
- 3 Heat the butter in a frying pan or small stewpan until hot.
- 4 Stir in the egg and cheese mixture, keeping stirring with a knife until it becomes a smooth, thick mass.
- 5 Put the mixture on hot buttered toast and serve.
