Cheese Sauce Macaroni
Ingredients
- 1 cup macaroni
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons fat
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup grated American cheese
Method
- 1 Boil macaroni in salted water until tender.
- 2 Melt fat in a saucepan over medium heat.
- 3 Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- 4 Slowly add milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
- 5 Stir in salt and pepper.
- 6 Add cheese and stir until melted.
- 7 Pour sauce over cooked macaroni and serve.
