Cheese Sauce Baked Eggs
Ingredients
- 6 hard-boiled eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons Allinson fine wheatmeal
- 1 ounce cheese
- 3 tablespoons brown breadcrumbs
- 2 ounces butter
Method
- 1 Shell and quarter the hard-boiled eggs.
- 2 Grease a shallow dish with half the butter and arrange the eggs inside.
- 3 Make a thick sauce by combining milk, wheatmeal, and cheese, seasoning to taste.
- 4 Pour the sauce over the eggs, top with breadcrumbs, and dot with remaining butter.
- 5 Bake until nicely browned.
