  • 3 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Thin slices of cheese

Method

  1. 1 Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
  2. 2 Crack in eggs and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the bottoms are set firm.
  3. 3 Transfer eggs to a serving dish.
  4. 4 Cover eggs with thin slices of cheese and place near a heat source (or under a broiler) until the cheese melts.
  5. 5 Serve immediately with toast.
