Cheese Crusted Baked Eggs
Ingredients
- Butter for greasing
- Thin slices of cheese
- 5 eggs
- Salt and pepper
- Grated cheese
- Chopped parsley
- Bits of butter
Method
- 1 Butter a shallow tin and line it with thin slices of cheese.
- 2 Break five eggs over the cheese, being careful not to break the yolks, and season with salt and pepper.
- 3 Grate a little cheese and chop fine a few sprigs of parsley; mix and sprinkle over the top.
- 4 Place bits of butter on top and bake in a quick oven (425°F) for ten minutes.
