Cheese Crusted Baked Eggs

Ingredients

  • Butter for greasing
  • Thin slices of cheese
  • 5 eggs
  • Salt and pepper
  • Grated cheese
  • Chopped parsley
  • Bits of butter

Method

  1. 1 Butter a shallow tin and line it with thin slices of cheese.
  2. 2 Break five eggs over the cheese, being careful not to break the yolks, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. 3 Grate a little cheese and chop fine a few sprigs of parsley; mix and sprinkle over the top.
  4. 4 Place bits of butter on top and bake in a quick oven (425°F) for ten minutes.
