Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon fat
  • 1/2 cup cooked corn
  • 1/2 cup tomato purée
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups grated cheese
  • 1/2 cup pimento
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Method

  1. 1 Heat the tomato purée in a pan.
  2. 2 Add the fat, corn, salt, paprika, and pimento; heat until hot.
  3. 3 Stir in the grated cheese and cook until melted.
  4. 4 Remove from heat and stir in the egg yolk until thick.
  5. 5 Serve the mixture over toast.
