Ingredients

  • 3 oz rice
  • 4 oz grated cheese
  • 1/2 cup tomato juice
  • 1 oz butter
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 1/2 pints water

Method

  1. 1 Boil rice in water with butter and seasoning until tender.
  2. 2 Add tomato juice and cheese, stirring until cheese dissolves and soup boils.
  3. 3 Add more water if needed, then serve immediately.
