Celery Sardine Salad
Ingredients
- drained sardines
- celery
- French dressing
- lettuce or cress
- Mayonnaise
Method
- 1 Bone and flake the drained sardines, placing them on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- 2 Finely chop the celery and mix it with the sardines in a ratio of three parts celery to one part sardines.
- 3 Marinate the mixture in French dressing, then drain.
- 4 Serve on a bed of lettuce or cress topped with mayonnaise.
