Cayenne Parmesan Rice

Ingredients

  • 4 oz Patna rice
  • 2 oz fresh butter
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1 oz grated Parmesan cheese

Method

  1. 1 Boil the rice in salted water until tender, then drain well.
  2. 2 Toss the drained rice in a stewpan with the butter and cayenne pepper until heated through.
  3. 3 Layer half the rice on a hot dish, sprinkle with half the cheese, then add remaining rice and cheese.
  4. 4 Serve immediately while hot.
