Cayenne Parmesan Rice
Ingredients
- 4 oz Patna rice
- 2 oz fresh butter
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 1 oz grated Parmesan cheese
Method
- 1 Boil the rice in salted water until tender, then drain well.
- 2 Toss the drained rice in a stewpan with the butter and cayenne pepper until heated through.
- 3 Layer half the rice on a hot dish, sprinkle with half the cheese, then add remaining rice and cheese.
- 4 Serve immediately while hot.
