Cauliflower With Brown Butter Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1 dash vinegar
  • 2 tbsp butter

Method

  1. 1 Boil the cauliflower until tender, then drain it.
  2. 2 Reserve one pint of the cooking water. Add a pinch of salt, nutmeg, and a dash of vinegar to the water.
  3. 3 Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat until it turns a light brown color.
  4. 4 Pour the brown butter into the seasoned cooking water and stir to combine.
  5. 5 Place the cauliflower on a hot platter and pour the sauce over it.
