Cauliflower With Brown Butter Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 head cauliflower
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 1 dash vinegar
- 2 tbsp butter
Method
- 1 Boil the cauliflower until tender, then drain it.
- 2 Reserve one pint of the cooking water. Add a pinch of salt, nutmeg, and a dash of vinegar to the water.
- 3 Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat until it turns a light brown color.
- 4 Pour the brown butter into the seasoned cooking water and stir to combine.
- 5 Place the cauliflower on a hot platter and pour the sauce over it.
