Carrot And Rice Soup
Ingredients
- several firm red carrots
- good bouillon
- 1 cupful cooked rice
Method
- 1 Cut several firm red carrots lengthwise, using only the red part.
- 2 Place carrots in a casserole with a good bouillon and simmer over a slow fire until soft.
- 3 Pass the carrots through a sieve and return to the bouillon.
- 4 Add 1 cupful of cooked rice, bring to a boil, and serve.
