Carrot And Rice Soup

Ingredients

  • several firm red carrots
  • good bouillon
  • 1 cupful cooked rice

Method

  1. 1 Cut several firm red carrots lengthwise, using only the red part.
  2. 2 Place carrots in a casserole with a good bouillon and simmer over a slow fire until soft.
  3. 3 Pass the carrots through a sieve and return to the bouillon.
  4. 4 Add 1 cupful of cooked rice, bring to a boil, and serve.
