Cardamom Sweet Rolls With Biscuit Cutter Rounds

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups flour
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • ½ cup butter
  • 6 oz sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1 cake compressed yeast

Method

  1. 1 Melt butter in milk. Dissolve yeast in a little warm milk.
  2. 2 Mix flour, sugar, and cardamom. Stir in butter-milk mixture and dissolved yeast. Mix thoroughly.
  3. 3 Let dough rise until doubled in size.
  4. 4 Roll out dough and cut into rounds with a biscuit cutter.
  5. 5 Place rounds in pans and let rise again until light.
  6. 6 Bake in a quick oven (425°F) until golden brown.
