Cardamom Sweet Rolls With Biscuit Cutter Rounds
Ingredients
- 2 ½ cups flour
- 1 ½ cups milk
- ½ cup butter
- 6 oz sugar
- 1 tsp ground cardamom
- 1 cake compressed yeast
Method
- 1 Melt butter in milk. Dissolve yeast in a little warm milk.
- 2 Mix flour, sugar, and cardamom. Stir in butter-milk mixture and dissolved yeast. Mix thoroughly.
- 3 Let dough rise until doubled in size.
- 4 Roll out dough and cut into rounds with a biscuit cutter.
- 5 Place rounds in pans and let rise again until light.
- 6 Bake in a quick oven (425°F) until golden brown.
