Caraway Shortbread Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 lb flour
- ½ lb butter
- 6 oz sugar
- caraway comfits
Method
- 1 Cream butter and sugar together.
- 2 Add flour and mix until a smooth ball forms. Work the dough until about half an inch thick.
- 3 Prick the dough with a skewer and sprinkle with caraway comfits.
- 4 Bake in a slow oven (300°F) until pale brown.
