Caraway Seed Yeast Buns
Ingredients
- 3 lbs flour
- 6 oz butter
- 6 oz sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1 pint milk
- ½ pint yeast
- ½ oz caraway seeds
Method
- 1 Beat eggs until thick. Melt butter in milk, then mix in yeast.
- 2 Strain liquid into flour and add caraway seeds. Work into a light dough.
- 3 Let dough rise near warmth. Shape into small buns, handling minimally.
- 4 Bake for 20 minutes.
