Caraway Seed Spritz Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 lb granulated sugar
- 8 large eggs
- 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ oz caraway seeds
- Granulated sugar for sprinkling
Method
- 1 Beat 1 lb sugar and 8 eggs in a large bowl for 20 minutes until thick and pale.
- 2 Mix in 1 ¼ cups flour and ¼ oz caraway seeds until just combined.
- 3 Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Fill a piping bag or funnel with batter.
- 4 Pipe small mounds onto the sheet, about 1.5 inches wide.
- 5 Lightly sprinkle tops with sugar. Bake in a 425°F oven until golden.
