Caraway Seed Shortbread Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ cups butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon caraway seeds
  • Flour, for rolling

Method

  1. 1 Beat butter and sugar until creamy.
  2. 2 Add egg yolks and beat until light.
  3. 3 Mix in caraway seeds.
  4. 4 Beat egg whites to stiff peaks.
  5. 5 Fold in whites and flour alternately.
  6. 6 Roll dough thin and cut into small cakes.
  7. 7 Bake in a quick oven (425°F).
