Caraway Seed Shortbread Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- 1 ½ cups butter
- 4 eggs
- 1 tablespoon caraway seeds
- Flour, for rolling
Method
- 1 Beat butter and sugar until creamy.
- 2 Add egg yolks and beat until light.
- 3 Mix in caraway seeds.
- 4 Beat egg whites to stiff peaks.
- 5 Fold in whites and flour alternately.
- 6 Roll dough thin and cut into small cakes.
- 7 Bake in a quick oven (425°F).
