Caraway Seed Cornmeal Cake
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- Weight of sugar equal to eggs
- Half weight of butter equal to eggs
- Twice weight of cornmeal equal to eggs
- 1/2 oz caraway seeds
- Lukewarm milk
Method
- 1 Cream the butter.
- 2 Add egg yolks, sugar, seeds, and cornmeal.
- 3 Add enough lukewarm milk to moisten the mixture.
- 4 Beat egg whites to a froth and fold in.
- 5 Bake immediately in a fairly quick oven (400°F).
