Caramelized Popcorn Balls And Fritters
Ingredients
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- popped popcorn
Method
- 1 Cook corn syrup for 15 minutes, then stir in vinegar.
- 2 Test the syrup by dropping a bit into cold water; it should snap.
- 3 Pour the hot syrup over popped popcorn and mix well.
- 4 For balls: form mixture into balls with oiled hands. For fritters: roll out warm mass and cut with a greased cutter.
