Caramel Walnut Ice Cream
Ingredients
- egg yolks
- sugar
- egg whites
- milk
- vanilla
- caramel
- walnuts

Method
- 1 Beat egg yolks and sugar until light, then fold in well-beaten egg whites.
- 2 Stir in scalding hot milk and cook in a double boiler until the mixture thickens.
- 3 Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and caramel.
- 4 Let the mixture cool completely, then add walnuts and cream.
- 5 Freeze according to your ice cream maker's instructions.
