Caper Butter Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • 2 teaspoons vinegar
  • parsley, tarragon, or lemon juice (optional)

Method

  1. 1 Mince one-third of the capers very fine and cut the remaining two-thirds in half.
  2. 2 Combine the capers and vinegar with the melted butter in a saucepan.
  3. 3 Stir constantly over low heat to prevent the butter from separating or oiling.
  4. 4 Optionally, stir in minced parsley, tarragon, or fresh lemon juice before serving.
