Cantaloupe And Lettuce Salad With French Dressing
Ingredients
- 1 ripe cantaloupe
- Crisp lettuce or Romaine leaves
- French dressing
Method
- 1 Arrange crisp lettuce or Romaine leaves on individual plates.
- 2 Cut a cold ripe cantaloupe in half, remove seeds, and scoop out balls or egg-shaped pieces using a vegetable scoop or teaspoon.
- 3 Heap a half dozen cantaloupe pieces onto the lettuce leaves.
- 4 At serving time, baste the fruit well with French dressing and serve immediately.
