Candied Rose Petals
Ingredients
- Red rose petals, cleaned
- 3 times weight of rose petals in sugar
- Water (equal volume to rose petals)
Method
- 1 Remove the white bases from red rose petals. Shred the petals slightly.
- 2 Combine petals and an equal volume of water in a pot. Cover and simmer until petals are tender.
- 3 Add sugar equal to three times the weight of the rose petals. Stir constantly to prevent burning.
