Candied Popcorn Balls
Ingredients
- 1½ cups sugar or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 tablespoons water
- 3 quarts popped corn
Method
- 1 Combine sugar (or maple syrup), butter, and water in a saucepan.
- 2 Boil the mixture until it spins a long thread.
- 3 Pour the hot syrup over popped corn and toss to coat.
- 4 Shape into balls if desired, or let cool and break apart.
