Candied Mint And Violet Flowers
Ingredients
- gum arabic
- water
- finely sifted sugar
- flowers (e.g., violets, pansies)
- marjoram
- mint
Method
- 1 Dissolve gum arabic in water to create a thin solution.
- 2 Wet the flowers in the gum arabic solution.
- 3 Place flowers in a cloth to dry until nearly dry.
- 4 Dip the flowers thoroughly in finely sifted sugar.
- 5 Hang flowers in the sun or near a fire until completely dry.
