  • 1 lb cranberries
  • 1 lb sugar
  • ½ cup water

Method

  1. 1 Combine ½ cup water and 2 lbs sugar in a pot and bring to a boil.
  2. 2 Skim the syrup to remove impurities.
  3. 3 Add 1 lb cranberries to the syrup.
  4. 4 Boil until the fruit becomes clear and preserved.
