Buttered Shrimp Toast
Ingredients
- shrimps
- butter
- salt
- pepper
- bread
Method
- 1 Shell the shrimps and place them in a saucepan with a little butter, salt, and pepper.
- 2 Stir the shrimps over the fire until hot.
- 3 Fry thin pieces of bread in butter or lard until crisp.
- 4 Drain the bread and place it on a hot platter.
- 5 Pile the hot buttered shrimps on top of the bread and serve immediately.
