Buttered Lemon Cornstarch Sauce
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- Few grains of salt
- 1 cup boiling water
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
Method
- 1 Mix sugar, cornstarch, and salt in a saucepan.
- 2 Gradually add boiling water while stirring constantly.
- 3 Boil for 5 minutes, stirring until thickened.
- 4 Remove from heat and stir in butter and lemon juice.
- 5 Serve immediately.
