Buttered Boiled Rice
Ingredients
- 2 cups rice
- Water
- Salt
- Pepper
- Butter
Method
- 1 Fill a large kettle with water and bring to a vigorous boil.
- 2 Add 2 cups of rice and boil hard for 25 minutes.
- 3 Drain in a colander and rinse under cold water to separate grains.
- 4 Season with salt and pepper, heap on a dish, and top with a lump of butter.
