Buttered Boiled Beets

Ingredients

• beets
• butter
• salt
• pepper

Method

1. 1 Wash beets and cut off tops.
2. 2 Place beets in boiling water.
3. 3 Boil for 1 to 2 hours until tender.
4. 4 Transfer beets to cold water for one minute.
5. 5 Peel and slice the beets.
6. 6 Season with butter, salt, and pepper.
