Butter Yeast Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 lb flour
  • 3 oz butter
  • 1 spoonful yeast
  • warm milk

Method

  1. 1 Rub butter into flour. Mix in yeast and warm milk to form a light paste. Set aside to rise until nearly doubled in size.
  2. 2 Shape the dough into rolls, approximately 4 inches long and 2 fingers wide. Let them rise again until well risen.
  3. 3 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for 15 minutes.
