Butter Tomato Rice
Ingredients
- 1 cup boiled rice
- ½ cup strained tomato sauce
- Butter
- Salt
- Pepper
- Bay leaf
Method
- 1 Season strained tomato sauce with butter, salt, pepper, and a bay leaf.
- 2 Add the seasoned tomato sauce to a cupful of boiled rice.
- 3 Toss together or mix lightly with a fork to avoid mashing the grains.
- 4 Serve as a vegetable.
