Butter Sugar Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 ¼ cups flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 packet baking powder
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Cream butter and sugar, then mix in eggs and baking powder.
- 2 Stir in flour to form a dough. Roll out on a floured surface to ¼-inch thickness.
- 3 Cut into shapes using cookie cutters. Place on a buttered baking sheet.
- 4 Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden and crisp. Cool and store in airtight containers.
